The Last Gift - IN PRODUCTION
A poignant yet darkly humorous spatial narrative capturing the final days of 92-year-old Bracha Weingrod, who insists on exiting life on her own terms. Reuniting the award-winning team behind Spots of Light, writer/director/composer Adam Weingrod and immersive producer/director Sean Thomas Evans, The Last Gift combines first-person perspectives, intimate family interviews, and impressionistic visuals into a deeply human exploration of autonomy and cultural identity. The result is an unforgettable blend of wry humor and reflective storytelling that invites viewers to contemplate the boundaries of agency, dignity, and the delicate space between life and death.
Shakti: Journey from Dreamland - IN PRODUCTION
An innovative biometrically-enabled mindfulness and wellness adventure that uses generative AI to personalize each player’s journey. Drawing from the rich tapestry of Indian cultural history and mythology, the experience guides players through a visually striking world where practicing emotional regulation and mindfulness becomes an interactive skill set. The game dynamically adapts to biometric feedback—such as heart rate and breath—making each player’s journey uniquely responsive to their emotional state. By fusing ancient wisdom with cutting-edge AI, Shakti offers a meditative adventure that evolves with the player, turning personal well-being into an immersive and artful gameplay experience.

The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal (Amazon Prime)
Sean served as the Animation Producer/Director, and archival restoration engineering lead for a four-part Amazon Prime documentary series about the legendary Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip. Under his direction, the team generated approximately 30 minutes of new animation from archival photographs and footage, using a unique AI-driven pipeline to introduce depth and movement into still images and dramatically speed up the animation process. The result is a visually rich narrative tapestry that reimagines the band’s legacy, seamlessly blending historical preservation with innovative motion design to bring past moments to life.

Mercury Sea / Nassau Clouds (Johnny Fay of The Tragically Hip)
A series of experimental documentary interviews with Johnny Fay (drummer of The Tragically Hip) exploring his creative process. Sean designed a custom AI-driven workflow that extracts text prompts from the interview dialogue and transforms them into generative visuals. These AI-crafted visuals serve as emotive renditions of the thoughts and feelings behind the music, immersing viewers in a dreamlike interpretation of Fay’s sonic landscape and creative imagination.
Alannah Myles – “What Am I Going to Do With You”
Sean spearheaded the precision upscaling and restoration of standard-definition archival footage of Alannah Myles’s performance, elevating it to 4K resolution with remarkable clarity. Using an AI upscaling and digital restoration process, the original video was made new—enhancing detail, reducing noise and reformatting to 16:9, while preserving the aesthetic detail of the 1990s-era sources.
SPOTS OF LIGHT
A critically acclaimed VR documentary that chronicles a soldier’s journey from blindness to restored sight. Through immersive storytelling and poetic visual design, Sean helped craft an experience where personal memories materialize as floating constellations of light in a darkened world. This innovative approach to light and perception earned Spots of Light recognition at major international festivals, including an official selection for the Venice Film Festival’s VR program and a showcase at SIGGRAPH’s VR Theater. The result is a deeply emotional and contemplative journey in which intimate recollections are transformed into mesmerizing, meditative visuals that surround the viewer.

MYRIAD. Where we connect. | 360° 3D Documentary
As Producer and Virtual Reality Production Supervisor, Sean led the team in capturing breathtaking high-resolution stereo 360° footage of the northern bald ibis migration across the Alps. The production employed custom 360° camera rigs mounted on drones and an ultralight aircraft, allowing audiences to experience the wonder of flight alongside conservationists as they guide a flock of endangered ibises over mountain peaks. The film offers an awe-inspiring immersive nature documentary, placing viewers right in the skies of this extraordinary reintroduction effort. Through Myriad’s cutting-edge VR cinematography, viewers gain a rare first-person perspective on the bond between humans and wildlife and a newfound appreciation for the fragile ecosystem these birds call home.

THE HOLY CITY VR
The Holy City is an innovative immersive and gamified VR experience of one of the world’s spiritual epicenters. The project reflects an innovation mindset, harnessing cutting edge technology and creating a platform that carries a unique opportunity to understand a new perspective.

WEED VR
WeedVR, the world's first VR cannabis dispensary, is a platform for exploring, comparing, and purchasing strains. Using VR hand controllers, the user can browse, pick up, and explore a 3D library of products with easy access to strain information and customer reviews. The virtual environment can be customized to fit any brick and mortar or online brand depending on the application.
